Many individuals face the problem of unwanted hair and struggle to get results even after experimenting with several methods of hair removal. Many factors such as the location and density of hair growth, your skin sensitivity and your skin type can decide the hair removal method best suited for you.

Shaving is the most widespread method of removing hair. It is inexpensive and effective, but it is temporary and has to be done on a regular basis to maintain a hair-free look. A good example of this is men shaving their beards every day. People also use shaving to remove unwanted hair from body areas like chest or legs.

Another alternative is waxing hair from the body. It is a messy procedure that can usually not be done in the house without outside assistance. The benefit of waxing is that the hair is pulled out from the root, and it takes twelve to fifteen days to reappear, providing freedom from unwanted hair for a longer time. But remember that waxing is a painful method and should not be done on sensitive body parts.

The third option is to apply a hair removal cream, which is simple to use and can be done by yourself. While this is free from pain, the hair reappears quicker than in the method of waxing. There is another danger that your skin may react to the chemicals in the cream, resulting in a rash.

Individuals having unbalanced hair growth can choose to have hair taken from higher hair density areas and get hair transplant done in parts with sparse growth. This is a complex procedure and should be applied only in case there are no other alternatives.

Lastly, there is another method called laser hair removal, which is also the most expensive. The major benefit of this technique is that its results are permanent. But in order to avoid scarring or other accidents, it should only be done by experienced specialists.
